Nearest Intersection: Soft Maple Rd and Buck Point Rd
Directions: From the intersection of Hwy 126 and Hwy 812 and Covent Rd in Croghan, take Covent Rd East for .3 miles. At this point Covent Rd name changes to Kircherville Rd. Continue East on Kircherville Rd for 2.6 miles. At this point you will be at the intersection with Erie Canal Rd. Continue straight. The road name now changed to Soft Maple Rd, which is also Beaver River Rd. Continue on Soft Maple Rd for another 9 miles. Turn Left onto Canoe Launch Rd for .7 miles. Which takes you to its end at the Eagle Falls Dam and Canoe Launch.
Comments/Notes: From the trail parking, you will go down the steps, go under the pipe line. Follow the trail right. You will come to a point where it seems the trail just ends at the waters edge. You have to cross the stream, being careful as when the current is high and fast crossing may be difficult. Once you cross over, you will see a foot path going up the side of the rock cliff. BE CAREFUL, once you get to the top, you are faced immediately with the other side which is a smooth downward slanting slab of rock. Make sure to note where you entered from below as it is not hard to loose track of exit back down if you are not familiar with the area.
